Enigmas
In this series, I turned small paint sketches of friends in seated poses into intriguing inkblots. I began each piece with a quick gesture of half of the figure. I then transfered the painting to the other side to create a mysterious, symmetrical form. I added additional paint in and around the figures. These were created with ink transfer, acrylic, and earth pigments.
